- The main task of the International Affairs Division is to coordinate the activities of the AEC with the international regulations, international organisations, institutions and bodies and increase the reputation of the AEC at the international level.
- The team of the International Affairs Division observes the international legislation and relations and cooperation with the international organisations, institutions and bodies, maintain contacts and exchange experiences with the regulatory authorities of other countries, international organisations and institutions; coordinates the organisation of international events (workshops, seminars and conferences in RM);
- Coordinates activities relating to a membership in international bodies and institutions;
- Organises developing activities for the purpose of harmonisation the electronic communications regulations in the Republic of Macedonia with the European Union directives, regulations and standards;
- Organises visits of foreign delegations; coordinates the activities related to the presentation of annual reports and publicly available documents related to international activities;
- Provides advices and guidelines on the application of international regulations in the field of electronic communications and provides an initiative for the implementation or modification of the existing regulations to implement the international regulation;
- Prepares comparative studies of appropriate application procedures and regulations of other countries;
- Performs professional processing issues that are important for the implementation of international regulations,
- Prepares analysis, information and other materials; Monitors developments in the field of electronic communications at the international level;
- Organises international events (workshops, seminars, conferences in the Republic of Macedonia); Ensures complete documentation of the AEC, including the database relating to international affairs;
- Provides information for employees in the AEC for international events and developments in the field of electronic communications;
- Organises subscription of magazines and supplies for the library of the AEC, taking into account the needs of the organisational units of the AEC,
- Prepares and updates the database of international activities of the AEC;
- Analyses and distributes electronic mail to the organisational units of the AEC and if it is required, answers to the interested organisations and individuals.
